Bulldog track and field teams turn in impressive medal count at home invite

The medal count for the Shelton girls and boys track and field teams increased again at the Shelton Invitational held on Thursday, April 14. The day saw twenty-five personal records from 21 different athletes, according to head coach Matt Walter, which included the second new school record this season in the discus by junior Emmilly Berglund.

Brenda Rodriguez and Anthony Garcia were crowned 2022 Wood River Rural High School Prom queen and king on Saturday, April 9, at Babel’s Barn. Lady Eagles take second, boys third at own invite

Buoyed by a total of six gold medal performances, the Wood River girls and boys track and field teams posted top five finishes at the Wood River Invitational held on Tuesday, April 5. The Lady Eagles finished the day in second place with 80 points behind first place Nebraska Christian with 102 points and the Eagle boys took third place with 61.50 points behind first place Centura and second place Kenesaw.
