Wood River Senior Center and Ministerial Association receive Heritage Bank donation

Wood River Senior Center and Ministerial Association receive Heritage Bank donation

Heritage Bank and Heritage Insurance continue to give back to all of their local communities through the Heritage Cares Program. Employees in all twelve branches chip in five dollars to wear jeans to work Fridays and the bank matches their gift. March was Heritage Bank – Wood River’s month to choose which local charities benefit from the program. Wood River employees chose to give $360 to the Wood River Senior Center to sponsor a decorated cake for their monthly celebrations and $210 to the Wood River Ministerial Association Food Pantry backpack program for elementary school children. Pastor Matt Troyer-Miller (left) and senior center Director Kila Turek (right) recently accepted respective donation checks on behalf of the ministerial association and the Senior Center, presented by Wood River’s Heritage Bank Relationship Manager Austin Geis.
