Games, food, raffles, split the pot, a dunk tank and more await those who attend the Shelton Sacred Heart Catholic Church Harvest Festival scheduled to be held at the Sacred Hall Devine Hall located at 508 B Street on Sunday, September 7, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
City strengthens infrastructure, paves way for growth through LCC program
The Celebrate Wood River Performing Arts Council, in its 19th year, is excited to share their 2025-2026 Concert Series to the Central Nebraska area. All performances will be at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater at 13800 West Wood River Road, Wood River.
The fourth annual Shelton Area Lions Club Family Movie in Park got the blessing of Mother Nature and proved to be a well attended, fun night for attendees of all ages as they gathered in Veterans Memorial Park to watch “A Minecraft Movie.” Hot dogs, popcorn and more were provided for attendees of all ages and an enjoyable summer evening was had by all who attended.
Wood River elementary students walk up to the school entrance to start a day of learning. As our local schools are in full session, safety precautions are important for drivers.
