Last Sunday’s warm weather made for a perfect opportunity for Hallie Hartman, of Gibbon, to explore a pasture near her home at El Charmin Lake with her father, Colby.
The 2020 election cycle continues on in Clipper Country with the passing of the March 2 filing deadline for non-incumbent candidates for various offices and boards and the upcoming May 12 primary election.
Rasmussen Mechanical Services has shifted its operation out of its Kearney office to a new location in Gibbon. The move comes in response to tremendous growth and as a strategic change to better serve the communities in the surrounding area.
Adam Ferguson, owner of Adam’s Corner Market in Gibbon, still plans to reopen his store in the near future a little over one month after a fire in a basement corner forced the business’s closure due mostly to smoke throughout the store.
Students at Shelton Elementary were treated to a presentation by Shelton dentist Dr. Gayle Knoll- Bruner last week. The presentation included hearing a story read to them and learning about ways to keep their teeth clean and how to take care of them in observance of National Children’s Dental Month. The month-long national health observance brings together thousands of dedicated professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers, and many others.
