The Shelton Area Goodfellows are continuing to prepare for bringing joy to those who are struggling this holiday season. As in the past, the Shelton community’s generosity provides gifts and food for families who need a little help during this season.
Kearney native Dr. Jason Jones recently replaced the retired Dr. John Herrmann at Gibbon Family Dental in Gibbon on Tuesdays.
For Dean Zoerb and his family, Christmas means lights, joy, and plenty of visitors. Their five-acre Christmas display, called Christmas in the Country, has become a local attraction and includes lights and holiday decorations of all kinds. Each year, Zoerb, his wife Julie and son Tanner transform their home into a winter wonderland for all to enjoy.
For good! Forever! Providing a means through which donor contributions can help the Shelton community now and for generations to come.
The Wood River Rural High School One Act Play cast and crew placed third at the LouPlatte Conference competition on Monday, November 22. The Wood River team’s presentation of “Peter Pan” was a mere one point shy of the runner-up spot and four points from the conference championship. The play will be presented next at the C1-5 competition held at Wood River tomorrow, Friday December 3.
