With the new school year at Shelton Public School comes two new faces in the front offices, superintendent secretary/bookkeeper Missy Meyer and office assistant Maritza Bernal.
Among the items on the agenda for the Shelton Board of Education to address at its regular monthly meeting on Monday, August 16, was a revised contract with Educational Service Unit (ESU) 10 for Title I funding, resetting adult meal prices, discussing ESSER III funds, and the Back To School Plan.
The Gibbon City Council faced a light summer agenda when it met for its regular monthly meeting on Monday, August 16.
Some of the Wood River FunFest activities held on Saturday included some good old fashioned hard work. The kids tractor pull, pictured above, is always a popular event, but strenuous on pride. New this year was the tube setting station. Old fashioned irrigation tubes of all sizes were set out for participants of all ages to learn the process and reminisce.
