St. Paul Lutheran Church celebrates seventy-five years
With the help of former pastors, the congregation of Shelton’s St. Paul Lutheran Church celebrated the church’s 75th anniversary with a special service and speaker on Sunday, February 13. The Clipper, like many small town businesses in America, has seen its share of highs and lows over the last several years. The latest low, the COVID chaos, still has a choke hold on small businesses. As the world, America, and most importantly, central Nebraska continues to move forward, a new sense of community is emerging.
Nearly 40 percent of Hall Co. voters have new polling site
Redistricting has had a significant impact in Hall County. “Nearly 40 percent of Hall County voters will have a different polling place for the 2022 elections,” said Hall County Election Commissioner Tracy Overstreet. “In the coming days, weeks and months, voters will hear and see repeat messages that many polling places have changed and now is the time to find your new polling place.”
Shelton Area Lions Club sponsors Mobile Screening Unit at Shelton School
The Shelton Area Lions Club sponsors the Mobile Screening Unit (MSU) to come to Shelton Public School annually to check students’ vision and hearing. This year the MSU was at the school on January 6.
