Donors show generosity to local non-profits during Go Big GIVE

Donors displayed great generosity once again toward Clipper Country non-profit organizations during the Go Big GIVE campaign held Thursday, May 4. Overall, the Heartland United Way and Greater Grand Island Community Foundation hosted 10th annual, 24-hour online giving event, raised $1,653,234.00 with 5,013 donations for 157 local non-profits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick counties.

Go Big GIVE 2023 is today

The annual Go Big GIVE day of fundraising is underway today, Thursday, May 4. Go Big GIVE is a 24-hour, online event organized by the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way to grow philanthropy in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties. Match Pool Funds and prize money are available to amplify charitable donations. Donations can be made online at www.gobiggive. org. Non-profits taking part include The Centura Educational Foundation, The Crane Trust, New Hope Christian School Building Fund, Grand Island-Cairo Bowling Association, Wood River Cemetery Association, Cairo Community Foundation, All Belong to Christ Daycare and Preschool, and Wood River Community Centennial Foundation.
