Everyone is invted by the Shelton Area Lions Club to the Merry and Bright Christmas lightning event planned for the Shelton business district from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4.
The First Annual Christmas in the Park and the “Magic of A Small Town Christmas” is scheduled for Saturday, December 3, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Gibbon business district with an open invitation for everyone to enjoy the event.
Efforts to replace the Shelton community’s sixty-plus year old swimming pool is gaining steam as a committee has been formed and plans for the pool and financing are beginning to take shape for the project, according to Shelton Community Pool Committee member Brenda Moeller.

The Gibbon area non-profits taking part in the 2022 Kearney Area Community Foundation’s Give Where You Live Day of Giving, which is set for Thursday, December 1, is set at nine.
