Wood River FFA competes in District CDEs, qualifies two teams for state

On Tuesday, February 25, the Wood River FFA Chapter competed at the District Career Development Events (CDE) in Grand Island, showcasing their knowledge and skills in various agricultural contests. A total of 40 students from ninth through twelfth grades represented Wood River in a highly competitive field.

At the recent Career Development Events competition, the Shelton Agronomy team earned a fourth place finish. Team members are, left to right, Jaxson Ohlman, Logan Eutsler, Reilly Jensen, and Matthew Goldfish.

Shelton FFA members find success at District Career Development Events competition

On Tuesday, Februaiy 25, twenty-five Shelton FFA members travelled to Grand Island to compete in the District 8 Career Development Events (CDE). CDE is hands on competitions that prepare students with career-readiness skills in different career areas such as floral design, welding, agronomy, and veterinaiy science. “Each of the Shelton teams placed high enough to move on to the state competition in April,” reported Shelton FFA sponsor Hannah Horak.
