Shelton track and field teams set 15 PRs at Franklin

The highly competitive Franklin Invitational on Tuesday, April 7, offered an opportunity for the Shelton girls and boys track and field teams to turn in no less than 15 personal records. As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished in seventh place among the 13 teams at the Franklin meet with 43 team points. The Pleasanton ladies won the meet with 85.5 team points.

Buffalo thinclads compete at Franklin Invite

Keaton Heikkinen and Kaleigh Pracht provided first place finishes for the Gibbon boys and girls track and field teams, respectively, at the Franklin Invitational on Tuesday, April 7. The boys finished the invitational with a team score of 59 for fourth place among the 14 teams competing and the Lady Buffaloes took tenth place on the day with 21 points among the 13 girls teams at the Franklin Invitational.

Wood River boys track and field team wins home meet, ladies place seventh

Wood River’s boys track and field team won the boys side of the Wood River Invitational on Tuesday, April 7, highlighted by Madden Brabec’s three gold medals in the pole vault, 110 meter hurdles, and 4 X 100 relay. The local boys piled up 92 team points to win the meet as the Lady Eagles placed seventh with 20 team points. The Nebraska Christian ladies won the girls portion of the day with 151 team points.
