News regarding the new Gibbon High School soccer program and the football team were highlights of the regular monthly meeting of the Gibbon Board of Education on Thursday, November 13.

In a rare display that could be seen as far south as Kansas and beyond, the Aurora Borealis put on a show that allowed midwesterners to view the natural light display last week in all its glory. The beautiful colors made for stunning photos by even the most amateur of photographers across the midwest.
