The Wood River Legion Juniors dropped a pair of games on the diamond last week, falling to the Doniphan Legion Juniors as well as the Minden Legion Juniors team.
After shutting out the Doniphan Legion Juniors last week, the Wood River Legion Seniors suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Minden Legion team.
The inaugural school year for the Gibbon FFA Chapter was capped with a number of recent activities. In reflecting on the chapter’s banquet on May 3 and end of the year activities, agriculture education teacher and FFA advisor Kealey Widdowson said, “The first thing we had was our end of the year FFA banquet. This was an amazing night where many of our members earned their first ever FFA degree and had the opportunity to recognize members and the community for all of the hard work they have done!”

The Shelton Just For Kix dancers showcased their unparalleled talent and dedication at the National Together We Dance (TWD) Competition in Rochester, Minnesota, from Wednesday, April 24, to Sunday, April 28. This remarkable event brought together dance teams from across the region, including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa, to compete in various categories.
