Dorsey leads Gibbon boys, Pracht Lady Buffs at Centura cross country invite

Darian Dorsey turned in a first place finish for the Gibbon boys and Kaleigh Pracht was seventh for the Lady Buffaloes as the Gibbon teams competed at the Centura Invitational on Tuesday, September 10. The Gibbon boys cruised to first place with ten points among the ten competing teams and the Gibbon ladies placed third with 26 points from the six girls teams running. Nebraska Christian won the girls side of the meet with seven points. “Everyone did an excellent job,” said Gibbon head coach Dillon Eckel.

Gibbon harriers host Ron Priebe-Gibbon Invitational

Darian Dorsey led the Gibbon boys cross country runners and Maria Zaldana the girl runners as the Gibbon cross country team hosted the Ron Priebe-Gibbon Invitational on Thursday, September 5. The Buffaloes finished in second place with 52 points among the 11 teams competing, behind first place Bertrand/Loomis with 47 points. The Gibbon ladies placed fourth out of six teams fielding teams with 64 points. Elm Creek won the girls side of the meet with 15 points.
