By hosting a triangular with Arcadia/Loup City and Gibbon on Tuesday, September 24, and traveling to a triangular at Red Cloud that included Blue Hill on Thursday, September 26, the Lady Bulldog volleyball team had little idle time last week.
Gibbon’s Lady Buffalo volleyball team continues to battle through a tough schedule as they have reached the approximate mid-way point of their season. Action for the Gibbon ladies last week included competing in a triangular at Shelton, which included Arcadia/ Loup City, on Tuesday, September 24, and a home match with visiting Sandy Creek on Thursday, September 26.
Top fifteen finishes by Darian Dorsey, Keagan Pickel and Giovanny Hernandez, lifted the Gibbon boys cross country team to a second place finish out of ten teams competing at the Ord Invitational on Friday, September 27. The Buffaloes finished the day with 19 points behind Ord with 15 points in first place.
Visiting Doniphan/Trumbull used consistent scoring in the final three quarters to dominate the Gibbon football team 45-7 in Gibbon on Friday, September 27.
