Ohlman competes at state golf

Shelton’s Jaxson Ohlman made the trip to Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus to compete in the Class D NSAA Boys Golf Championships on Wednesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 29, where he finished in 25th place in a field of 101 competitors. Ohlman fired a 46 on the front nine holes on day one of the state meet and a 42 on the back nine for a total of 88 and went on to turn in a 43 on his first nine holes on the second day of the meet and 41 on the second for an 84. He ended the tournament with a total of 172. “Jaxson has proven himself time and time again,” stated Shelton head boys golf coach Alice Rabbe. “He has worked hard to work on the mental aspect and play through anything!
