The Centura boys wrestlers spent two days on the road last week at a quad hosted by Doniphan/Trumbull on Thursday, January 26, and the Ord Invitational on Friday, January 27.
The Shelton boys’ basketball team hit the hardwood twice last week as they traveled to Overton on Tuesday night, January 24, and to Blue Hill on Friday, January 27. Both games brought the same outcome for the Bulldogs as they would improve their season record to 14-1.

Shelton wasted little time in both of their games last week in setting the tone and pace for the game against the Lady Rebels and Lady Spartans. The Lady Bulldogs won big over Arcadia-Loup City on Tuesday, January 10, by a score of 60-18, and delivered more of the same fate to the Ansley-Litchfield Lady Spartans on Friday, with a final score of 71-29.
Wood River’s Eagle basketball team earned a third place finish at the Runza Holiday Classic Tournament over the holiday break and then returned to regular season competition after the postponement of the Tuesday, January 3, game with Amherst due to inclement weather and traveled to Arcadia/Loup City on Thursday, January 5, and played host to Ravenna on Friday, January 7.
