Cindy L. Carter, age 60, of Kearney, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at her home. Memorial services wee held Wednesday, February 3, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Shanno officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
Arthur Barg passed away on January 30, 2021, at 107 years young. Arthur was a resident at Good Samaritan Village in Grand Island; and a long-time resident of Grand Island prior to moving to the village. Prior to moving to Grand Island, he was a business owner and resident of Wood River.
Donald L. Rohrich, age 93, of Wood River, died January 8, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital with his family by his side. A private family service was held on Friday, January 15, with Pastor Trudy Hanke officiating.
Claudia J. Murr, age 76, of Odessa, was called to the Rainbow Bridge to meet and care for her countless fur babies that have preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life was held Monday, January 18, 2021, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral home in Kearney with Pastor Zach Ondrak officiating.
Betty Ann Smith, age 79, of Gibbon, lost her battle with kidney/bone cancer and gained her angel wings Saturday, January 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney with Pastor Mike Evans officiating.
