Lloyd “Elvin” Gilliland, age 86, of rural Gibbon, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at his home with his wife by his side. Memorial services were held Monday, April 5, 2021, at the Gibbon Baptist Church with Pastor Taylor Shippy officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon.
Alfred F. Turek, age 84, of Wood River, died Friday, April 2, 2021, at his farm. A funeral mass was held Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wood River with Father Jorge Canela celebrating. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Wood River.
