Donald L. Rohrich, age 93, of Wood River, died January 8, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital with his family by his side. A private family service was held on Friday, January 15, with Pastor Trudy Hanke officiating.
Claudia J. Murr, age 76, of Odessa, was called to the Rainbow Bridge to meet and care for her countless fur babies that have preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life was held Monday, January 18, 2021, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral home in Kearney with Pastor Zach Ondrak officiating.
Betty Ann Smith, age 79, of Gibbon, lost her battle with kidney/bone cancer and gained her angel wings Saturday, January 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney with Pastor Mike Evans officiating.
June Elizabeth Watson, age 96, formerly of Wood River, passed peacefully from her earthly life on December 30, 2020, at Brookstone View Nursing Home in Broken Bow. A family service was held on Tuesday, January 5, with Reverend Trudy Hanke officiating. Burial was in the Wood River Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Wood River United Methodist Church.
Mervin Glen Brown, age 84, of Lodi, California, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. Services were held Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Colonial Rose Chapel in Stockton, California. Interment followed at Park View Cemetery in Manteca, California.
