Inez Marie Rohrich, age 91, of Wood River, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island with her children by her side. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island with Pastor Terry Boshart officiating. The family will be receiving visitors one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.apfelfuneralhome.

Donald J. Theis, age 87, of Gibbon, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. A memorial mass was held Tuesday, April 9, at St. James Catholic Church in Kearney with Father Joe Hannappel officiating. Military honors were provided by Kearney American Legion #52, VFW Post #759 in conjunction with the United States Navy Funeral Honors Team following the service at the church.
