Jerry R. McDonald, age 83, of Holdrege, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Celebration of life services will be held on June 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at J.B.’s Bar and Grill in Holdrege. Memorials in Jerry’s honor are kindly suggested to the Hoesch Public Library in Alma, or Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Beverly Arnold, age 86, of Shelton, died on April 13, 2024, at Mount Carmel Home in Kearney. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. this Friday, April 19, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelton with Reverend Don Pobanz officiating. Burial will follow at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Hour or the Shelton Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
