WRMA Food Pantry/Backpack Program receives monetary gift from Heritage Group

The Wood River Ministerial Association’s Food Pantry/ Backpack Program recently received a gift of $682.50 from the Heritage Group. Jim Rennau explained, “Each month, Heritage Bank, Heritage Insurance, and HGI Realty employees can chip in a donation to the Heritage Cares Fund in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans twice a month. During March, all donations across the twelve branches were designated to the Wood River backpack program to combat food insecurity. Heritage Group matches the employees’ gifts to support our communities.” Rennau went on to express his appreciation to Nancy DeVore, Pat Lammers, Lisa Rathman, and all the volunteers who work hard to make the program possible.
