The public is invited to attend the 10th Annual Shelton Art Expo scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 26, in the Shelton Public School Media Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the public presentation will be held from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Individual presentations and critiques will be held from 7:30 to 8:45/9:00 p.m.
The Wood River Community Club hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 2. It was enjoyed by a large crowd and featured eggs for children in five age groups as well as a chance to meet (and hug) the Easter Bunny. On February 22, 2022, the Cairo Rural Volunteer Fire Department (CRVFD) received their purchase of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs), sometimes referred to as “air-packs.”
The annual Shelton Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. at the Shelton Park.
The Gibbon American Legion will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16, at the northeast end of Davis Park beginning at 1:00 p.m.
