The Shelton Food Pantry at the Shelton United Methodist Church recently announced that it had received a grant for $7,000 from Bayer Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer in the U.S. This grant will be used towards building a better future by the Shelton Food Pantry.
The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus is coming to Gibbon on Friday, July 19, sponsored by the Gibbon Chamber of Commerce and will be held at the Gibbon Public School at 1030 Court Street.
The communities of Gibbon and Shelton hosted Independence Day celebrations on Thursday, July 4, with parades and more. Despite rainy weather in the morning, the clouds moved on and sunshine prevailed. The 2024 Hall County Fair, in Grand Island, is jam packed with events, activities and entertainment, including 4-H exhibits and shows. The fair will be held Wednesday, July 17, through Sunday, July 21.
