Shelton Alumni Banquet makes its return in May

Saturday, May 25, 2024, is the date set for the 108th Shelton Alumni Banquet, honoring all classes ending in “4.” Graduates of the Class of 2024 will be honored guests. All graduates of Shelton High School are encouraged to attend. Invitations to honor years will be sent byApril 1. Nebraska provides weather variety to begin the week

In the space of approximately 36 hours, weather in Nebraska gave residents of the area as much variety as they could stand as thunderstorms, some with rain and small hail, rumbled through the region on Sunday evening, which was followed by strong winds on Monday with blizzard conditions that caused icy, hazardous travel throughout the day. Drifts abounded in the aftermath of the storm system on Tuesday morning. See the Severe Weather Awareness Week article on page 3 and the Severe Weather Awareness Week information on page 14.
