The Wood River Community Club hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 2. It was enjoyed by a large crowd and featured eggs for children in five age groups as well as a chance to meet (and hug) the Easter Bunny. On February 22, 2022, the Cairo Rural Volunteer Fire Department (CRVFD) received their purchase of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs), sometimes referred to as “air-packs.”
The annual Shelton Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m. at the Shelton Park.
The Gibbon American Legion will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16, at the northeast end of Davis Park beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The Wood River Community Centennial Foundation is excited to join with the Wood River Schools in establishing the Wood River Schools Foundation.
