Wood River Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten flag football team
The Wood River Eagle volleyball team finished in second place last week after playing in the LouPlatte Conference volleyball tournament by going up against Arcadia/Loup City Monday, October 9, progressing against Doniphan/Trumbull Tuesday, October 10, and advancing to the championship game Thursday, October 12, against St. Paul.
“Well, we didn’t end up with any state qualifiers this year but we ended on a beautiful day, at a fast district and on a fast course,” stated Shelton head cross country coach Matt Walter. “All five runners ran their personal records for their careers. I am incredibly proud of their determination to go out and hit goals we set.”
The Centura ladies faced the LouPlatte Conference volleyball tournament last week, finding a win Monday, October 9, against Ord and progressing to a second game on Tuesday, October 10, but finding defeat against St. Paul, and ending the tournament competing for third place against Doniphan-Trumbull Thursday, October 12.
