Fillmore Central kept the Wood River football team scoreless in the first half of their game on Friday, October 20, and went on to post a decisive 43-8 win over the Eagles to end the season for the Wood River boys, who finished the season with a record of 1-8.
Even though they fell victim to the SEM Mustangs, 49-7, on Friday, October 20, the Shelton Bulldogs have qualified for the six-man state playoffs. The SEM game was played on the Bulldogs’ home field.
The Centura volleyball team finished their 2023 season after hosting the Ravenna Bluejays on Tuesday, October 17, in the last match up of the regular season and started the C2-9 Subdistrict Tournament by finding a win against Gibbon, but falling in the second match up on Monday, October 23, against Hastings St. Cecilia.

The Shelton Lady Bulldogs were named runner-up in the Twin Valley Conference Tounament on Monday, October 16, after a hard fight against the Deshler Dragons.
