Victor W. Carpenter, age 79, of Kearney, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. today, Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Kearney First United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon with Military Honors provided by Gibbon American Legion Post #310 in conjunction with the U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Team. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial services will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Faith United Church in Gibbon at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mike Evans will officiate and burial will be later. There will be no visitation.
