Martin and Johnson crowned at 2026 WRRHS Winter Ball

Jace Martin and Allie Johnson were crowned king and queen of the 2026 Wood River High School Winter Ball on Saturday, January 31. Queen finalists were seniors Kenna Thompson, Ximena Trejo, Marlen Rodriguez, and Zailey Gewecke. King finalists were seniors Diego Avilez, Preston Ammon, Brek Wiese, and Landon Hauptman. Harper Doane and Alex Pospisil were the freshman attendants and serving as sophomore attendants were Kaitlyn Johnson and Briggs Doane. Junior attendants were Riley Codner and Mason Bryant. Shelton Hall of Fame group honors newest class of athletes and contributor

The Shelton High School Athletic Hall of Fame and Baseball Hall of Fame honored the newest class last Friday evening, January 30. The Class of 2025 consists of football standout Brad Myers, the 1992-93 state qualifying boys basketball team, athletic and school contributor Doug Duncan, and baseball inductee Nathan Wrage. They were celebrated with an induction ceremony at halftime of the boys basketball game against Blue Hill.
