Elizabeth Green competed in Junior Public Speaking. Her speech was titled “Bovine Viral Diarrhea: A Critical Disease in Cattle Herds.” She was District Champion, received a purple ribbon, and qualified for State FFA in April.

Wood River FFA Chapter excels at District Leadership Development Events

The Wood River FFA Chapter showcased exceptional talent and dedication at the District Leadership Development Events (LDEs) held recently at Sumner-Eddyville-Miller School. Competing against strong contenders from across the district, Wood River FFA members brought home a variety of awards and recognitions.

Versatility and talent earn the Shelton girls 2010 track team a spot in the Shelton Athletic Hall of Fame

A winning track program begins with a variety of athletes and the Shelton girls 2010 team had just that. Speed, stamina, and endurance made this team a champion or runner-up in every meet they entered during the season, culminating with the Class C state runner-up trophy. This group was the beginning of a strong era in the girls track program, and is now a part of the Shelton Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2024.
