The Go Big GIVE 24-hour, online event organized by the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way is set to be held next Thursday, May 1, for nonprofits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick counties.
The Hall County Historical Society (HCHS) is proud to announce the dedication of a new Nebraska State Historical Marker at Cairo this Sunday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m. The dedication ceremony will take place at the marker site on U.S. Highway 11, next to the Cairo ballfields.
Gibbon’s Davis Park was the site of the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Gibbon American Legion Bradley Buck Post #310 on Saturday, April 19. A swarm of eager hunters descended on the candy spread throughout the northeast corner of the park, picking it clean of candy and goodies in mere minutes. Seven Clipper Country nonprofits will participate in the Thursday, May 1, Go Big GIVE 24-hour, online event organized by the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way. Go Big GIVE brings Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties together as one community, raising money and awareness for local nonprofits during the 24-hour online giving day. The event inspires people to give generously to nonprofits making the heartland stronger, creating a thriving community for all.
