Both the Wood River boys and girls track teams recorded third place finishes at the Wood River Invitational on Tuesday, April 5.
Another week on the Shelton track and field schedule means another cold week of meets as both the boys and girls track teams competed at the Wood River meet on Tuesday, April 4, and Axtell on Thursday, April 6.
The 2023 Nebraska State FFA Convention Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 29, 30 and 31, in Lincoln was a successful one for the members of the Shelton FFA Chapter.
Members of the Wood River Rural High FFA Chapter competed at the 2023 Nebraska State FFA Convention in Lincoln Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, March 29, 30 and 31. The Wood River Livestock Management Team placed fourth in the state in the Poultry component of the competition. Both the Wood River Rural High boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Grand Island Central Catholic Invitational on Thursday, March 30. The boys finished the day in fifth place and the Lady Eagles placed eighth.
