Jerry Jurgensen, age 73, of Gibbon, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. today (Thursday) at Faith United Church in Gibbon with Pastor Mike Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery with military honors provided by Gibbon American Legion Post # 310 in conjunction with the Nebraska National Guard Funeral Honors Team.
A memorial service for Henrietta and Carrol Wilcoxson will be held this Saturday, August 14, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelton. Henrietta passed away May 26, 2020, and Carrol passed away June 29, 2020.
Shane Robert Ernest, age 31, of Dalton, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 11, 2021, near Neligh from complications of injuries sustained in a semi-truck accident.
Shane Roger Samuelson, age 53, of Chapman, died on Monday, June 28, 2021. A memorial service was held Friday, July 9, at the Apfel Funeral Home in Wood River with Bev Hieb officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family or Apfel Funeral Home.
Jesse Onate, Jr., age 89, of Gibbon, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. A graveside service was held Friday, July 2, 2021, at the Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon with the Pastor Don Rodriguez officiating.
