Opal I. Brodine, age 99, of Elm Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Brookestone Gardens in Kearney. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 14, at the Elm Creek United Methodist Church.

Lorilyn R. Elam, age 61, of Gibbon, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Kearney Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. today, Thursday, December 12, at the Shelton United Methodist Church with Pastor Michelle Byerly officiating. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
