Phyllis Irene Rathman, age 94, of Wood River, passed away on July 3, 2025, at Brookefield Park in St. Paul. Funeral service was held Tuesday, July 8, at Christ Lutheran Church, Cairo, with Reverend Brian L. Wright officiating. Burial followed at Berwick Cemetery, Cairo. Sharon Lee (Larsen) Myers, age 84, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Kearney, surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 1, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelton with Pastor Don Pobanz officiating. She was laid to rest at the Shelton Cemetery.

Richard J. “Rick” Keefer, age 70, of Gibbon, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelton with Father Josh Brown officiating. Burial will take place at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa, at a later date.
