Area firefighters respond to Shelton grass fire

Members of the Shelton Volunteer Fire Department, with the aid of departments from Gibbon and Wood River, worked to contain a grass fire on Bluff Center Road east of Shelton on Sunday, February 27. The dry conditions that have prevailed throughout the state over the past few months have increased the risks of grass fires. Forecasts indicate chances for precipitation this weekend.
