While a member of the Stick Creek Kids board, Nick helped with the “Fire Camp” educational camp for fire prevention, suppression and EMS activities for the kids. He continues to help with the annual camp.

Nick volunteers each year to help judge FFA leadership events at the district and state level. Nick joined his grandson Briggs on the day he received his FFA jacket. Nick wore his high school FFA jacket for the occasion.
