Bulldog boys break title drought
Shelton’s Bulldogs broke a drought that had spanned a decade by claiming the championship trophy at the Silver Lake Holiday Tournament, getting past Alma Friday, December 27, and by disposing of Exeter-Milligan in the championship game Saturday, the 28th.
“Our defensive intensity has been fantastic,” beamed Coach Tyler Horky. “We’ve bought into playing team defense, and it has paid off,” he added after the championship trophy was claimed by the Bulldogs. “I’m extremely happy for these boys. They’ve worked their tails off, and now it’s all paying off.”
