Cheryl Sinner, age 63, of Gibbon, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 2, at the Faith United Church in Gibbon. The Reverend Cathy Cole officiated. Interment followed at Brewster Cemetery in Brewster. A Memorial service was held Wednesday, January 2, at the Brewster United Church of Christ in Brewster. Cheryl was born July 22, 1955, in Holdrege to Raymond G. and Margaret E. (Snyder) Wood. She received her education from Kearney High School, graduating in 1973. Following her graduation, Cheryl went on to earn her LPN license. On February 29, 1992, Cheryl was united in marriage to Lonnie Sinner in Fort Worth, Texas. The couple made their home in Gibbon where they drove truck together for several years. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lonnie Sinner, of Gibbon; children, Meshell (Brett) Osborne, of Gibbon, Joe (Carly) Lawver, of Ord, Tim (Megan) Lawver, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Tiffany (Shaun) Bridges, of Kearney; 21 grandchildren; mother, Margaret Wood, of Kearney; sisters, Cynthia Dennis, of Kearney, Patricia (Robert) Jones, of Columbus, Lora (James) Webb, of Kearney, Brenda (Ronnie) Lockler, of Spring, Texas; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Wood; and sister-in-law, Valorie Sinner.
