Beverly Franks, age 83, of Kearney, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Mt. Carmel Home in Kearney. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 6, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Pastor Don Endicott officiated. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon.

Beverly was born June 4, 1937, in Kearney to Earl and Esther (Lyons) Dancer. She grew up in Gibbon and received her education from Gibbon High School, graduating with the class of 1956. She was united in marriage to Donald O. Franks on December 27, 1956, in Hastings, and to this union four children were born: Mike, Debbie, Steven, and Rick.
Together, Beverly and Donald served in ministry at the Church of God of Prophecy, serving in Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and going to garage sales. But most of all, Beverly loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mike Franks and his wife, Gerri, of Gibbon, Debbie Dye and her husband, Bill, of Canon City, Colorado, and Rick Franks and his wife, Pamela, of Gibbon; nine grandchildren; 29 greatgrandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister-in-law, Lois Hyde, of Kearney; along with many other relatives and friends.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Franks; son, Steven R. Franks; her parents; brother, Roger Dancer; and her sister, Joyce Ash.
