The CHI Health St. Francis Foundation recently awarded $8,450.00 to the Cairo Fire Department for wildland fire personal protective equipment.

Boelus Fire and Rescue was recently the recipient of $3,000.00 for a thermal imaging camera as part of more than $162,000 awarded to 17 local fire and rescue departments by the CHI Health St. Francis Foundation.

Dannebrog Fire and Rescue was recently the recipient of $5,000.00 from the St. Francis Foundation to go toward firefighter gear as one of 17 local departments to receive funding.
