YEAR IN REVIEW 2024 | The Shelton Clipper

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 7, 15 Union Pacific train cars of an eastbound Union Pacific train carrying coal derailed along Highway 30 in Gibbon, spilling their payload along the tracks. No one was injured in the derailment.

Students and staff from Wood River Elementary enjoyed Elementary Field Day on Monday, May 20, as nice weather prevailed.

The Shelton Food Pantry at the Shelton United Methodist Church received a grant for $7,000 from Bayer Fund in July. The grant will be used for building a better future by the Shelton Food Pantry.
