Wood River, Cairo groups going BIG

Once again this year, a number of Clipper Country non-profit organizations will be taking part in the Sixth Annual Go Big GIVE activities which was rescheduled this year to be held on Tuesday, July 7. Go Big GIVE is a 24-hour, online giving event organized by the Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way to grow philanthropy in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties. Matching funds and prize money are available to amplify charitable donations. Go Big GIVE is based on other successful giving days hosted by community organizations across the country. Clipper Country non-profits taking part include the Crane Trust and The Wood River Community Centennial Foundation-Stick Creek Kids, all of Wood River; All Belong to Christ Daycare and Preschool, Cairo Community Foundation, Centura Educational Foundation, and New Hope Christian School Building Fund, all of Cairo; and the Grand Island-Cairo Bowling Association.
