Winter holds icy grip on Clipper Country and the region

After a brief respite in January, winter has returned and made up for lost time as snow and brutally cold temperatures have been the order of the day since late last week. Depending on the location in the area, between seven and nearly nine inches of snow fell off and on from Friday evening through Sunday, followed by dangerous below zero temperatures which are projected to continue into the middle of next week.
