Shelton U.M.C. sends flood relief kits to Southern communities

The Shelton United Methodist Church, in collaboration with the community of Shelton, recently exceeded all expectations by assembling 50 cleaning kits, 101 hygiene kits, and 52 school kits for the United Methodist Committee on Relief. These kits were transported to Topeka, Kansas, last week and will be distributed from the UMCOR depot in Baldwin, Louisiana, to communities affected by disaster or needing school supplies for students. There is an ongoing need for kits and these kits will help replenish those distributed to several Nebraska communities during the recent floods.
