Pool hours, fees and sale of lots discussed at recent board meeting

Highlights from the May regular meeting of the Shelton Village Board of Trustees included hearing from Brenda Piel, of the Blue Hill Housing Authority, a discussion of swimming pool hours and fees, hearing an audit report from Kay Staley, of Dana Cole and Associates, and a discussion on the sale of some lots in the village, when the board met on Thursday, May 9.

Brenda Piel, of the Blue Hill Housing Authority, who is working with the Shelton Housing Authority, spent a few minutes introducing herself to board members and explained that the Shelton Housing Authority will likely keep that name and that the board of directors of the organization will be discussing its options moving forward at its next meeting.
