Gibbon Council talks Keno details

Keno, garbage rates, asset mapping, and the resignation of a council member were on the minds of the Gibbon City Council when it met for the regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 18.

Michael Nevrivy, of Hastings Keno, Inc., and Trevor Reeder, owner of the Lucky Duck Bar in Gibbon, explained details of how Keno works and the legalities that go along with Keno in a community. Keno was approved in the Gibbon community in a special election in October. The council went on to approve ordinances that established Keno in Gibbon, lottery sales locations, qualification standards, and who may participate in playing Keno.
