COVID-19 delays Shelton alumni honor classes until next banquet
“As far as I know, there are four of us left. I’m the only boy and there are three girls” says Wayne Arnold, a graduate of the Class of 1950. The four class members were deprived of a moment of recognition as 70-year graduates since the Shelton High School alumni banquet was one of those happenings that was cancelled due to the spread of the coronavirus that has drawn much attention. Honor classes that would have been recognized this year, will be included in next year’s alumni banquet.
Arnold is the only one out of the class that once numbered 31 who is still living in the Shelton community and resides on the farm on which he has spent all his life.
