The family of Marvin and Jane Rickert will be hosting a dessert reception to honor the couple’s 65th wedding anniversary. The reception will be held Sunday, August 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Wood River Community Center at 108 East 10th Street.
For over 40 years, the Schroeder family shared their home, “Kiddies Korner,” with the families of Shelton and surrounding communities. Irma Schroeder successfully operated Kiddies Korner, a licensed daycare center and registered preschool, with 49 children.
